Championship Golf began in the Cabo San Lucas area over a decade ago,
with the development of the Palmilla Resort and it's famous Golf
Course and club house. This was Jack Nicklaus's first
signature golf course in Mexico, and he has since designed two
other local courses (El Dorado and Cabo Del Sol’s Ocean Course).
Palmilla is also the home of the 1997 Senior Slam
watched by millions on television with it's spectacular
surrounding landscaping and ocean view from every hole.
This event, won by Hale Irwin, will always be remembered as one of
the most exciting matches in Golf history. The Cabo Real Resort was built into the mountains and beaches to offer
an exciting, varied experience that suits golfers of all abilities. The
Cabo Del Sol’s Desert Course’s few forced carries make it
a perfect counterpart for Nicklaus’ more challenging Ocean
Course. The Raven Golf Club, formerly known as the Cabo San Lucas Country
Club, offers a difficult course
with the only direct view to Land’s End of any of the local
courses.

made up of two ci ties at the tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula: the
quaint San Jose del Cabo and the more high-profile Cabo San Lucas,
